Where Is All Started

In 1941, two chemists in Manchester, United Kingdom invented polyester.

Eighty-four years on, almost every garment sold to men is still made from it. Plastic, spun into thread. Pressed against skin.

I grew up in Manchester. I started running, started caring what I put on my body.

I looked for the alternative. There wasn't one. Activewear giants sold plastic in twelve colorways and called it innovation.

Our first product

So we built it. Merino from Australasia. Organic Cotton. No polyester. No nylon. No plastic anywhere it touches you.

The Future

To the pioneers of activewear: thank you. We'll take it from here.

What We Stand For

We believe activewear has lost its way. Synthetic fibres, chemical finishes, and disposable construction have become the default, sold to you as performance. We think that's backwards. We're not here to follow the industry. We're here to restore what fabric was always meant to be: natural, traceable, and built to last.

Certified natural fibres

Certified natural fibres

Every fabric is certified, GOTS organic cotton, Responsible Wool Standard, or the natural-fibre equivalent.

Luxury mills

Luxury mills

Every Nero garment is traceable to the mill, the flock, the field. The same Italian and Portuguese mills that supply the world's luxury houses. No mystery blends. No "proprietary technology."

Tested to last

Tested to last

Independently lab-tested at SGS and Intertek for seam strength, abrasion, pilling, and shrinkage. Built to the standards luxury houses set.

Built slowly, on purpose

Built slowly, on purpose

We release fewer styles, in smaller runs, and refine them year after year. Built once. Built right.
